Bollix!that's a fan's point of view and suit your lot nicely. We are talking about people involved that have to get to the ground 1 and half hour before and travelling for another 45-55 minutes at least!saturdays and tuesdays are the days and should stay like that.Players at this level have to take time off for a tuesday game and make up for it the days when football is not on.do you remember playing eton manor on a wednesday night...it fecks you up and players struggle to make the game.Uncle i accept your offer and we'll soon march to the FA headquarters...now i can't..i'm busy sorting out those leeds utd and FA rejects...read the Echo,Coachie is on the war path boxing flame

Oi stroppynuts, wind your neck in!!!! grinarse

It was a "personal" view as to what would suit "me" and I was ONLY talking about Saturdays. I accept it would not suit everyone and particularly not players and management.

Happy now my lasagne munching amico? grin

As a personal view to change kick off times to earlier for me wouldbe a real pain in the butt. This is purley because instead of working on a saturday morning i have other commitments such as my horse to do. I already have to pay someone to do the evening for me, i'm not about to pay for someone to do the morning as well when it's supposed to be quality time for me and my baby!

coachie poo

number 1) you cant moan about a wednesday game. mondays and thursdays i can see your point because they are within 48 hours of another game.

i actually buzz off a monday night football at barkingside tho. and i appreciate playing wednesdays at bowers cos i can go watch tuesday games.

number 2) a friday night game would be LEM in my opinion but only now and again as you could have a whole saturday off and a few beers friday night after the game. however friday night away to clapton no thanks but you may get them on a tuesday anyway.

number 3) 1pm kick off or 2pm kick offs on saturday 2 words - F*CK OFF lol no interest in that whatsoever. coach is 100% correct when he says players need to be at the ground 1 hour and a half before KO and then travelling time before that.

i dont see the point moaning about it tho. friday night at clapton would be better then thursday night at london APSA! thursday games are a joke.

quick question coach.... what if you get clapton on a tuesday night?? is the traffic worse on a friday?

I thought Clarkey looked sharp too and I was impressed with Reidy on the left. Good to see Neil Marron back also.

You seemed to be nursing a groin strain Smallsy, problem?

number 1)for you that play regularly home matches on wednesdays it ain't a problem....the problem is for us regulars tuesdays!we can't train the day before and the day after! flameit [****!!****] our week up!
number 2)a local friday night game wouldn't be a problem..but then i wanna chill out on a friday night after a busy week at work! brille008
number 3 agreed.
if we get clapton on a tuesday night it ain't a problem.my players know they must be available on tuesday so they organize their working week accordingly.
i'm under the impression that Clapton wants to play friday nights so they can use players dual registered with other clubs...a la barkingside if you know what i meant.anyway feck these shhety playing days...we haven't got sky so stick to TUESDAYS and SATURDAYS!!! angry

Coachie, i really hope that u r not trying to say that this is the reason we play on a monday. The reason i ask this is because if u used a bit of that brain of yours to actually think about our situation, u will realise that because we share a ground and r the tennants and so we have to play around the Redbridge side. This means we cannot have the same week day home game as them. This i think is perfectly clear to anyone that THINKS about the situation!

fair enough Kattyan but that, didn't stop your club from dual signing players from Redbridge in the past..playing on mondays didn't clash with the tuesdays games and potentially you could play their squad players that didn't get a game saturdays on mondays...i'm only guessing Kattyan and forgive me if it's not true bisou
