what is all about???

Recommended Posts

Clapton wants to play on a friday evening at 7.45 or saturdays at 1.00 pm???so we'll have to travel in rush hours on friday to London or play early on saturday? personally if we all start asking to play funny days or times that's the end of it.it's enough playing bowers on wednesday,or mondays at barkingside!it will give Clapton an unfair advantadge...players not available on fridays nights or early saturday(some work.... flame)no start....

less rest for non league players with a chance of more injuries, that's all.and wednesdays or thursdays games affect your players performance on saturday.in the premiership a part Bank holidays the teams that play mondays don't play on saturdays and the ones that play wednesdays play on sundays. smile

its fckn outrageous coachey and must be submitted to higher authorities at once......a strong delegation is required with strong leadership...non of these namby pamby whinging mincing woofters from afcw a required here dear boy...oh no..this is not a job for sandal wearing pinko guardianistas.....we need some good old fashioned bulldog grit to defer these usurpers of our traditions and the british football way of life...

I shall offer myself up as your leader (for a small fee just to cover ex's of course) and we shall march on the essex FA heaquarters immediately...(well... after corrie's inished).... yay

ps

I shouldn't worry too much about it as they probably haven't paid their fines from last season as yet...(allegedly) grin

From a personal point of view, why can't Senior County leagues like ours kick off at 2pm on a Saturday? Times have changed, with football only kicking off at 3pm to accomodate the working man, who regularly did a five and half-day week.
I have no idea how much it costs to spark up the floodlights for a whole game/second half, but surely most clubs would save a few bob if this was so between the clock movements.
It would also give Kaiser and Smallsy an extra hour to get ready for Saturday evening's tart-pulling exercises... smile

I don't have a problem with Saturday KOs at 2:00pm or even 1:00pm for County League games.

It allows more time for travelling home and/or to get to the bar. Especially if there is a live game on the box.

Retired? I wished!!!! How old do you think I am? grin

I am just taking a couple of months out before embarking on a new role at the end of August.

But yeah, I was talking about what suits me, it was indeed a "personal" view!!!
