Danny Morgan has joined us from Bishops Stortford.

 

Last season we were a bit light in the goals for column, but with the additions of Boot and Morgan we now have depth and competition up front.

 

This was a key area for us to strengthen, Matt and his team have done well to add these two quality players.

 

It should be a good season for us, I'm looking forward to it already.

Is that the same Danny Morgan who played for us at the beginning of last season?

It is Bluetone, but he was nicked off us by Bishops Stortford.

 

This season we have managed to reverse the situation and lure him back. I watched him in a practice match at New Lodge last Saturday and he looked very sharp.

If memory serves, the young man showed bags of potential.

 

Another great addition to the squad.

Morgan is imo a talented "all-round" striker and I believe he can be very successful at this level and a fine addition to the squad as long as he is prepared to fully commit himself to the Ricay cause.

 

Do we know if he has signed a contract or is he just on Ryman terms TC?

Excellent. I recall being pretty dissapointed when he didn't hang around last year. Welcome back.

That's a quality and strong looking forward line. If we create as many chances as we did in games last season, then we're gonna bang quite a few goals in this season.

I seem to remember thinking that Danny reminded me of a (kind of) Alan Shearer mould player. I am sure he spanked one in up at Whitham Town last pre-season.
