I see from the Southend website that they will be using their full first team squad for Fridays game hopefully they will sign the Hungarian defender they are linked with before Friday and a few more Southend fans will turn up to see his debut.

Hopefully should attract a big crowd. See Southend edged past Wakering last night after beating Witham 8-1 at the weekend.

afraid i wont be able to make it, shame as i missed the game last year aswell. look forward to seeing how we get on tho.

I see Clydie is still only on trial so there may be a slim chance he will come back

Did you see the story about Steve Parmenter, Southends new kit-man not a bad job.

I dont think we will get Clyde back now not after signing the 2 players we have.Parms got a great job seems he turned down being chelmsford reserve team manager and is picking up coaching over at southend good luck to him i say always liked parms.Any 1 know who the trailists are?

i heard there was something wrong with the paper work so he cant make it now

To be fair im not fussed about losing Clyde Roberts , he was never fully comitted to Canvey he was more concerned about asking to be paid silly money from what i heard.

 

GF will be a better addition to the squad..

I hope your right about Fanibuyan,from reports along with Francis, John Batch has signed 2 very good players

 

Don`t know the background to Roberts leaving but when he was on the pitch you couldn`t fault his effort for the team.
