frenzy at the bridge today

Uncle Urchin

Recommended Posts

after the romford recorder did us a big service on the back pages of friday's tomb the fones aint stopped ringing today at the bridge for details and tickets for tomorrows game.....looks like we also have a very similar west ham team to the one at the daggers on saturday so interest is understandably high..quite a few daggers are also coming along...

nett's very upbeat about it all so don't leave it too late..get there early.....all are welcome for what should be a great night...restaurants open at 6pm as well as the three food outlets in the ground...

Team that played at D&R

West Ham United (first half): Green; Pantsil, Collins, Gabbidon, McCartney; Reid, Mullins, Bowyer, Etherington; Hines, Cole.

West Ham United (second half): Wright; Pantsil (Ferdinand 82), Davenport, Upson, Spector; Faubert, Parker, Collison, Boa Morte; Cole (Noble 67), Ashton.

which five will be missing i wonder

in all seriousness they wan't to get rid of a few of them so i can't see them taking them to austria with them

Sorry Nette, didn't mean to rain on your parade. Just pointing out that the Hammers have taken a 35 strong squad to Graz.

I hope it's a great night for you. bisou

Hi Max, I was at Concord on Saturday and had a brief chat with Urchin Mentallist in the bar.

I was wearing a white and red Tyrone Gaellic Football shirt.

As for no banter, don't you worry about that, I give as good as I get!!! grin

Tomorrow I'll probably be watching Bowers & Pitsea (my team) v Gt Wakering Rovers.

Hiya Mental, heard you made a night of it grin. Is Tink still talking to you?

Maxie, I arrived at around 3:30pm (I was wiv 'er indoors), I wandered into the bar and there was this lone Urchin, sipping on a pint and and watching TV. I said hello to this individual at Half-Time and it turned out to be Rob.

So to answer your question, no I didn't pay to get in (Didn't see any of the first half) but I spent enough at the bar to cover it. laugh

love you hookster but I have a serious problem with people not paying to get into NL grounds.....

if everyone paid there would be another 5 million squidsy each year circulating around the national NL system.....

we can all afford it so why not pay a fiver/tenner and preserve the future of these clubs...

Wasn't avoiding paying Unc, I didn't watch the game in the first half (As I said, I arrived at 3:30pm and went straight into the bar) so by the time the second half started the turnstiles had closed. I only watched 10 mins of the second half before shooting off.

I was at Concord completely by accident. We went to a shop on the Island and on the way home I talked the missus into having a quick drink in the Concord bar, really just to see who was about and to see who would come into the bar at half-time, yourself included.

Completely agree with you about paying ones dues and even when I had a "pass" to away games I never used it. I always paid.

I trust this will alleviate any fears you may have of me being a "cheapskate"! grin
