Robin Trott has now confirmed the signatures of Scott Chalmers-Stevens, James Pinnock and Justin Skinner. Steve McKimm has been appointed as player coach. Mike Flanagan will not be with us next Season. Robin is in negotiations with a new striker to replace Danny Hockton.

No mention of Jimmy among retained players, I thought he was still with us or have I missed something over the last few weeks?

I think you will find that the reference to Scott, JP and Skinns refers to the fact that they have signed new contracts. The other players mentioned that were on the original retained list were already under contract for this season.

Anything North past Watford Gap gets mightily strange, I should know, have worked in Leicester for 3 years!!!!

A bit more background info here re:Flanagan, and RT seems to confirm that he definately will not be playing

 

(personally, i think through injury, budget or simply we are not good enough in defence reasons, we will see RT play quite a few games this season )

Just looked at the psf's fixtures again.

 

I thought there was a friedly at Chatham on tuesday 31st July, but i am obviously wrong
