1)So,another weeks delay for the 5-a-sides. But will the materials materialise in the meantime?

2)Side not officially signed yet then as was stated to me(from the top).

BUT

3)A commercial manager HAS been appointed.(though he hasnt started yet I notice).Still, when he does, maybe things will start to improve all round from here on.

Now this IS good news

General Manager, we had a manager before, Dave Canham, he did a great job, why did he go, because of our financies, we could not afford the position, so what has changed?

<And has this position been advertised, or is it someone that knows someone, his second brother.......

I think Commercial Manager is a bit different to General Manager Dan!! And for your other comment, does it really matter that much? If the person coming into this position does a good job are any of us really going to care? Apart from any of us who may have wanted to apply! (Not me!)

Where's the good news though? Commercial manager hopes to start soon. Surely pre season is when the publicity machine should be in full swing i.e. now. Any players on the horizon or will we be left with the dregs no one else wants after the good ones are signed up elsewhere? The b()llsh!t about the five a side pitches was guessable.

In terms of "action" taking place with this update no,nothing has changed & there does look to be some kind of "appeasing the fans" with SOME news. Come on now we were all crying out for SOMETHING.

The fact is(if it is indeed fact & we should at least give the benefit of the doubt on this one)mention of a contract to a commercial manager IS a way forward & one that most do realise, will or should, help the club get those sponsers back on board,at the least. A name would help but as long as this comes to fruition & the club do benefit from the appointment,as they surely will & if the person is good at his/her job then as is mentioned above..who cares who it is!

We cant disbelieve EVERYTHING! We have to have faith in SOMETHING!
