Any news of new players?

Does anyone have any idea of new signings for the club.Why is it that every season appears so hush hush,in this matter.Other teams,whet the fans appetite,by announcing who they signed and where they come from ie,Farnborough,Bracknell,Oxford City,etc.So I can hardly see why it has to be secret.

Nobody has signed forms with us yet, so we can't announce what we haven't signed.

 

More to the point, if you start publicly talking of how Joe Bloggs is training with us again, it alerts other clubs who may contact the player.

 

Once the players have signed forms with the club, they will be announced. That is up to the players and Wilko to decide when that time will be.

in my opinion this season seems to be the most positive of all the preseasons that i have been through, despite the fact that we had the disasterous season, we have a ground, some good fixtures for preseason, and a budget (apparently), and a large group of players at training.

theres definately some new optimism around the place, so a little wait for a squad announcement isnt really a problem!

You also have to take into account things like the 'Errol Telemaque' situation last year which made us look silly. Oh, yes he's signing with us... and then he plays for Staines.
