The lack of news.........

Looking on from my long distant vantage point, the lack of news this close season has been most frustrating. It seems like a lot of fans on this forum are getting increasingly annoyed by the lack of communication between club and fans, and also club and the media.

In my experience Margate have never been particularly good at this, and I don't know if this is being a bit simplistic but i can only see three reasons for it :

1) We are in trouble as a club, probably financial trouble, and the manager's hands are tied until some unknown matter or matters is/are sorted out in usual MFC last minute style. You do wonder if there are still some unpleasant surprises still to emerge like the CVA stuff etc. And you wonder because nobody tells you, and it's happened before

2) The upper management of the club just don't see the fans and their opinions as important - lip service is paid but that's about all.

3) It will all fall into place soon and we are in effect worrying about nothing, as the club only see fit to announce things when they are certain and secure.

 

My view from reading the stuff on here is that Trott is probably operating with some kind of cloud over the club, which we don't know the full facts about, he is probably not involved in, and that number 1) above is the closest to the truth.

 

I hope I am wrong, but I have never subscribed to the view, particularly nowadays, that no news is good news.

all very true, there must be more to this money trouble than we have been told or im sure it would have been sorted now and definately agree no news is not good news where MFC IS CONCERNED
