I hadn't been given an ultimatum, WE had arranged to go out on Friday night. It was something I wanted to do and not something I was told I had to do.

I suspect you are in a situation where your partner would rather spend time without you around!

You couldn't be further from the truth and this sounds more like something 3praise would come out with. Me and my partner get on like a house on fire however she knows full well not to interfere with anything to do with the beautiful game, where had you arranged to go out of interest, was it to see the new Harry Potter Film by any chance.

Paula - I still can't work out why you didn't come to the pub on Friday straight from work, there was a 18.46 train from Southend Victoria which would have got you to Liverpool Street at 19.44 or alternatively there was a 19.06 from Southend arriving at 20.01. I can't believe there are no showers in your large building that you could have made use of during the day and you could have easily brought a change of clothing to work with you. That tells me that you didn't want to come so why not just admit it.

1/ There are no showers in the building

2/ I bring my car to work - where would I have left it if I travelled straight from here

3/ I am not lugging a change of clothes and a load of war paint to work (you know I aint a girlie girlie sort)

4/ What about my babies (namely my 2 dogs)

5/ After getting home to have my shower, change my clothes and sort my babies I would then have to find my way to Rayleigh (nearest station on Southend Victoria Line).

 

 

Is that enough for you??

I take it meeting rhodes wasnt very high on the agenda, rather walk the dogs, sounds about right to me, think i'd rather watch my grass grow.

Paula - Regarding number 4 above I'm sure you could get a neighbour to walk and feed the dogs for an evening or what about Curtis, I presume he has the run of your place and comes and goes as he pleases.
