Where was clip Rods?

Recommended Posts

Presumably, clip Rods went to Kentish Town's friendly with Eton Manor at the Elmbridge Sports Centre today. As that game kicked off at 1pm, it presumably finished at about 2:45pm/3pm.

Approximately a mile away, clip Rods' beloved Haringey Borough ("I bleed green and yellow") kicked off at 3:30pm in their first friendly against Manford Way - as well advertised on "his" club's website.

So where was he?

Sadly, their supposed No. 1 fan was AWOL. Shame really, as he could have learned some useful information about the ball and shirt issue, the centenary game, 3praise's forthcoming marriage (good luck with that, mate) and other interesting conversations that I was party to.

Oh well, clip Rods. Never mind, eh?

Good point, was this discussed although I'll have £50 that 'Sugar wasn't there. I didn't even know Haringey were at Manford Way today, 3praise, or Football Man for that matter, never mentioned it on here or that they were both attending, I would have loved to have seen their faces if I had turned up.

Why would I need to mention the game on here? Surely, as an avid Haringey fan, you check their website regularly? The game has been there for some time now.

As for the shirt and ball, it's not something that I view as a major issue so why should I make life easy for you? Had you come to the game you could have asked about it yourself.

You conveniently fail to mention whether 'Sugar' was there or not, you have a clever way of wording your posts otherwise you would have said 'you could have asked 'Sugar' yourself'.

So from that can I assume 'Sugar' wasn't present for his Club's first pre-season friendly of the season, if so that's disgusting.

Quite a few people were wondering where their No. 1 supporter, he of the green and yellow blood, was as they were aware that the club he works for had played earlier in the day just down the road. They thought it was disgusting that he couldn't be bothered to come just down the road to watch "his" club's first pre-season friendly. grin

I consider the goings on at clubs like Boston United to be major issues. You and I both know that Tottenham, and othe Premier League clubs, give away hundreds of autographed items every week and the alleged disappearance of a single shirt and ball doesn't even begin to form a ripple in the pool of things.

The Pagester - Well I very much hope that is the case, I will give him or his poodle 3praise until Close of Business tomorrow to come on here with an explanation of where the shirt and ball got to otherwise I will be forced to approach the Tottenham Police, 'Sugar' knows perfectly well that I will do it too. Football Man makes a good point that Spurs give hundreds of autographed items away every week however he knows perfectly well that this is a different kettle of fish entirely involving a possible case of fraud.

Well said, lets hope that 'Sugar' does the decent thing and comes clean however I think his silence and 3parise's evasiveness tells us everything we need to know.

Rhodes you say that the ball and shirt was collected - how do we know that YOU never collected it and gave it to your kids - i bet they would have thought all their christmasses came at once with a gift of that magnitude! OR did the signed ball and shirt go up in flames with all your other junk?

the plot thickens...

You are really struggling now aren't you which shows you know exactly what happened to the shirt and ball. If Spurs offered them to raise funds following the fire then how would they have gone up in flames in the fire. Like I said if I don't get an admission from 'Sugar', or you as his poodle, by Close of Business tomorrow an e-mail will be winging it's way to Chief Superintendent Simon O'Brien.

Incidentally where were you on Friday night at Hamilton Hall or didn't her indoors let you out, you cost Forum members £50 worth of drinks and they weren't impressed.

3praise - Can you confirm whether 'Sugar' was in attendance at Manford Way yesterday for 'our' pre-season friendly, a simple yes or no answer will suffice.
