Yes that's right, he is one of the many players that has stayed with us through thick and thin since the tender age of 13 or 14 and a class act.

Yes, I suppose you will be reporting that back to your Club Coach, have you had any pre-season friendlies yet.

From what I saw Robbie, Bigg Utd were doing a fair bit of hoofing it up front themselves! When Kentish ran at your defence it was chaos back there. But that was never going to last with the Kentish puffing problems that were clear from 20 minutes in. Fitness! fitness! fitness!

As you say though, a return visit when half your team aren't getting bubblied up or tanning themeselves will be more useful. You still stood out though as a bit of natural quality.

Thank you for your comments Wader, i would give myself a 6/10, long way to go before i can say im as fit as i need to be.

Im not suprised the defence looked shaky.....3 at the back, (one of which was a striker) it was always going to be a fruitful day for the Kentish forwards.

Adam Laurence was at fault for both goals, if he can eradicate the silly errors he will be a solid keeper, hes only a youngster playing mens football, so he will improve as he gains experience.

Robbie Timms has also signed, he is the ex Barton keeper you refer to.

I had a look at Town, Chris Nunn has got a decent side there and i fancy they will do well this year, considering the signings they have made. It was a case of either sticking with Utd and the new management, or go to Town, with no guarantee of regular football, which i need. So after weighing up pro's and cons i decided to stick with Utd.

Sounds fair enough Robbie'O.. Good luck to you.. I suspect Town were looking to renumerate you relatively handsomely aswell so well done you on sticking where you were.. Hows the atmosphere at United?? Im trying to make up my mind wether to watch United or Town myself this season.. I actually want to pick a club and follow them all year rather than floating about all over the place.. As an ex goalkeeper it would be nice to find somewhere that has a decent GK to watch!! Who will be first choice at United??
