You have brought dubious publicity by over-hyping him. He personally has brought no publicity to our league whatsoever!

Horace - What about the articles in the Daily Mirror, The Times and When Saturday Comes magazine, the SSML were mentioned in those.

The only stuff about Clement that has appeared in print was inspired by you and has done nothing to promote the SML. Until his team have won Div 1 by a record number of points and begun to do the same in the Premier Div, there's nothing to shout about.

Well we would have won Division 1 last season by a record number of points had we not lost Lee Scott in January, I think that's common knowledge. Losing the groundshare at Hendon didn't do us any favours either thanks to the Cockfosters game on 30 December as it was very unsettling.

No. it's not common knowledge, it's just your belief! Brimsdown only dropped 12 points, so how could you have? Is Lee back now? I need to know before I go to the bookies.

Yes but Brimsdown were no where near the best team we played last season, we didn't rate them at all. I can get my bookie mate to give you a quote if you want a bet, you may clean up like Gavin did last season.

You are the best dodger of a question I know!

I'm not talking about the coming season or how you rated Brimsdown - you said that you would have won Div 1 by a record margin if it hadn't been for losing Lee Scott and Claremont Road. I was asking how that could have been possible as Brimsdown only dropped 12 points all season, so you couldn't have won the league by a record margin.

All right - I'll rephrase that - "You are the best dodger of a question I know who's not a politician! - now answer the question.

Gavin - I attach a link to the Daily Mirror article, it appeared on the day of the Israel v England game in Tel Aviv on 24 March and I'm just wondering what the publicity is going to be like on 8 September when Israel play the return game at Wembley, my mobile is already red hot.

So he was an illegal immigrant who abandoned a 3 year old child in a foreign country? Is this meant to be good publicity for Kentish Town and has Gary Glitter applied to be your Child Protection Officer yet?

So he moves in the circle of people who don't actually turn up then....? Cos he didn't turn up did he......

Jonno.. re: Was he injured?

Do you know the story and are winding Rhodes up? If not if you read back some of the old threads you'd know he was at Her Majesty's Pleasure....

Tringarmy - Your post is uncalled for, particularly the bit about Gary Glitter, as you don't know the full story. A lot of what the Daily Mirror have written is unsurprisingly made up and I was merely highlighting the Nationwide publicity for the SSML in the article which you have chosen to ignore.

What did he do, just out of curiosity? GBH on Rhodes?
