Personally, i think Grays are quite an attractive fixture-alot has happened there over the summmer.

I agree with that, if you follow non-league football, but how many fans keep up to date with other clubs. Floating fans certainly would not and probably don't even know what league Grays are in.

I read that Ramsgate got over 500 there for their kickabout with Gillingham on a midweek eveing.
I reckon 'Gate will be lucky yto get over 300 for their friendly with Grays on a saturday.

I can't recall now, but i think for our first home friendly v Millwall last season ,we got about 400.

So Ramsgate are getting 500.

Does that alone not spell out a big message to the Board.

Does the Board care ?
Have they got the business acumen and motivation to do anything about it.

Its not just about money.

We had about 700 against Millwall last season. The other games we were only getting 300/400

My fear is that with the Rams looking good and Dover will be going well, these floating supporters will have plenty of options,we dont know for sure how we will shape up lets hope that we start well, and as for the board not seeming to give a dam then i would say look at the work going on at the ground now,we hardly look like a club ready to fold, the others may be making big noise ie Dover and Rams but lets wait and see and hope it comes good,we the the suppoters have been through hell and high water over the last five years or so we must have skin like Rhinos,so lets get behind the manager and club and start believing.

No-ones saying the club aren't doing their bit elsewhere,& appreciative of it we should all be,but in the main the talk has been about promoting of the club & communicating with the supporters of this club..This is where they fall short & is something that needs addressing. This can still be looked at,worked on & achieved alongside of the improvements i.m.o.
