Just to let you know, this hasn't been forgotten and a lot of work has gone into getting the design of the brochure completed. Thanks to Glen for sorting that out and also arranging a deal on the printing.

 

Thanks to Jamie B for helping us get the wording right. It certainly looks the part and I am sure our matchday hospitality team will meet our sponsors requirements.

 

We are planning on sending out an A5 version of the brochure to approximately 500 companies in and around Slough in the hope that we can persuade some of them to put some money into the club in some form. Martin, Glen, Chris and I met on Tuesday evening to review the brochure and discuss the matchday programme for the 2007-8 season.

 

If you could, please can you send the link at the bottom of this post to any companies who you think may be interested. Martin, Chris and I are currently working through an extensive list of companies which we hope to extract 500 from to send out a hard copy to. Any help regarding hand delivery of these would be most appreciated.

The content in the online version is the same as the A5 version which will be posted out to companies. Any feedback and offers of help will be very much appreciated. In addition, if you have any contacts within a company that you might be able to get interested, please point them in our direction, or to the brochure.

We're getting closer to finishing the list of companies off and will have some spare brochures available. If you know of anyone suitable within your company, please let me know.

The brochures have now been received, the list is being finalised and we're hoping to get the 'packs' sent out next week.

 

Anyone who would be available to hand deliver some of the letters, please let me know and I will send through our list of targetted companies to see which are most suited.

 

In addition, if there is a person at your company that you think may be interested in sponsoring the Rebels in any form, please let me know and I will make sure we get a printed brochure over to you.

The initial list has around 350 companies. Some of these are no longer trading and are being removed, so we will be adding further companies by looking at who is advertising in the local press/radio etc.

Kay - would you still be ok to assist with envelopes?

 

I know Ted has offered, but would anyone else be able to help with hand delivering some of the letters? We have 332 printed at the moment for companies in the Slough area and have already had a few enquiries regarding sponsorship before the campaign, so it is all steps in the right direction.
