The transfer of Leon Archer to Braintree Town was successfully completed earlier today for an undisclosed fee. Leon returned from the summer break having decided that he no longer wished to play for St Albans City. Following discussions between the Manager and Chairman Leon was subsequently released from his contract. It is understood that a change in Leon's personal circumstances prompted his decision to move and he will now be playing close to his new home.

 

Leon scored 6 goals in 17 appearances for the Saints after joining from Boreham Wood.
