Yeah i saw this post a while back whilst searching for something else, i don`t remember him playing for us at that time.

There was also the player for Wivenhoe last season who listed Canvey as one of his previous clubs who nobody remembers.

That`s him (well almost) Jeff Shepherd, Previous Clubs: Tottenham hotspurs , Colchester united ,Southend united , Cambridge united , Hornchurch and Canvey Island

Can`t say i remember anything about him and with his previous clubs i would have thought he would have been a first X1 player.

Doesn't seem like a bad bet after last night's performance for Curran. People were saying how good he looked in training, but I thought he was different class yesterday.

The composure he showed for the goal is something you rarely see at this level. Most strikers in the non league would have pulled the trigger and hoped for the best, but he showed great awareness to dummy the keeper and defender to slot into and empty net. Quality.

Bloody finger slipped!!

Curran holds the ball up well and has good awareness of players around him. With Danny playing very little football last season it's virtually like signing a new player. Gives us a different option up front.

He also uses all the width of the pitch which is something we were missing, when Lowes went out there we lost that.

The other thing is, he looked to pass the ball across the goal saw we had a player offside and decided to take it on himself.
