So when did the Mauritians and Pennant become one? The history of Pennant appears quite complex.

 

First there was plain old Pennant playing for many years in the London Met then Spartan Leagues. Then it would appear they merged with Leyton (of the Leyton Wingate not Leyton FC version) to become Leyton Pennant. Then Leyton Pennant became Waltham Forest and Pennant re emerged as Walthamstow Pennant (not to be confussed with Walthamstow Avenue who have re formed and Still exist I think).

 

Now Pennant appear to have dropped the Walthamstow bit and linked up with Mauritius Sports.

As far as i know he's still going play right wing for liverpool

Walthamstow Avenue 2000 and Walthamstow Pennant have been chugging along in the Middlesex County Premier League for the last few years and amalgamated in 2005/06 to form Walthamstow Avenue and Pennant and became affiliated to the Essex FA as an Intermediate club. Perhaps it is the Pennant side of this club which has amalgamated with Mauritius Sports (CMB)? Time will tell.

I hear they've got half the APSA side form Last year - Mr Mercer was involved and sliced off a sizeable chunk of their squad with his smooth Tongue.

 

Now that wouldn't be an ambush that would be a skillful incersion into enemy territory and a swift execution of a great PLAN.

 

All good though........ fair play to Mauritius, i hear they'll be right good this year.
