The Edgware thing

Recommended Posts

Whilst it pains me to say it, Uncle made a good point (did I just say that)in some previous thread somewhere re Edgware and their intial compliance with ground leasing arrangements for the Ryman.

I have every sympathy with them and their current plight but the NLP gave the impression that they were allowed promotion into the Ryman with a lease that expired at the end of 2007? So that would be approx a 5 month period in playing terms. However the Ryman have also previously said that teams such as Romford cannot go in on an annual lease (eg re our previous situation at Fords)

Are the Ryman/FA now making the rules up as they go along?

you know you love me really BM.... grin

as for the edgware lease...well the NLP were wrong (very surprising grin)..the lease was for 4 years which is why I questioned the issue....there is therefore only one conclusion which makes all the sympathy somewhat misguided...
