already banned by professional clubs including Southend and Man Utd. I think its been well documented what injuries they can cause. Just wondered if anyone knew if we have banned our players from wearing them, or is it up the player?

 

I believe they should be banned but as usual the FA have done very little about the matter.

 

anyone else feel they should be outlawed from the game at all levels?

I agree about blades. When having to stop sharply and turn a blade can dig/stick in the ground and jar the knee joints causing injuries. (Well that is what i have been told anyway)

 

I think blades were/are just an extension of the fashion conscious sports makers to sell more boots. Lets face it they come in ridiculous colours these days too !
