That is also how I understood the terms... if Gordon is at Brimsdown at Xmas then tough titty Rhodesy. Although I will of course get you a pint after our game next week! I think for the vase game we call it the winner gets the drinks in?

If what you say is correct then clearly there is something not quite right going on, my guess, reading between the lines, is that Gordon has realised that he has made the mistake of his life by agreeing to go to Harlow and would give his right arm to put the clock back. He may well be back at Goldsdown Road by 25 December however I still feel that I should be paid out now and if he is reinstated then I will happily refund the tenners.

As I have already said previously, I have heard a "story" as to the reason behind his move to Harlow but whilst it remains an unconfirmed story, I am not prepared to divulge it on here. However, if it's true, then I don't blame him for taking the job and good luck to him.

Why not just divulge it in a 'publish and be damned' fashion, that's surely what a Football Forum is all about at the end of the day where speculation and 'unconfirmed stories' are there to be kicked about until the real truth comes out. From what you suggest there was some sort of disagreement at Brimsdown involving Boateng and in trademark style he threw all his toys out of his cot and packed his bags for Harlow without considering that he might be out of his depth at Barrows Farm.

You said that you had heard a "story" as to the reason behind his move to Harlow so what else could it be, why else would he leave Goldsdown Road with the Club flourishing and on the point of something big. Their poor results so far this season have been proof that Boateng has been sorely missed.

Well why don't you just tell us what it is then rather than giving us all this cloak and dagger and smoke and mirrors nonsense.

Like the memorabilia scandal you mean at Haringey Borough

Yes unfortunately I wasn't there but I would have given my right arm to be a fly on the wall.

I also remember Tiger007's post a while back when he pointed out that nobody from the Haringey delegation would look him in the eye let alone come over and offer their hand of friendship in the SSML spirit, what does that tell you.
