Lovely Country is mauritus

 

I have had a few mautitian Birds meself. Like MAtthews Turkey - Bootiful.

 

I hear their gaffer is an ex Sporting Bengal Manager. Cam e 2nd that year - from bottom of course. I hear Mercer is part of the set up.

 

Good luck to you gentlmen and welcome to the league. Watch out for Basildon, and Eton Manor, They like their Indian, but I hear they could murder a Mauritian.

well in fairness UM was close as they do speak french in mauritius.....

however...they don't speak fckn french in essex let alone english and in all honesty this carpetbag stinks of desperation from the esl...another number and another whipping boy...and a spare saturday for every club....

sozzy...aint buying into it...not good for the league...

I wentto Mauritius in 97 just after our Isthmian Div 2 triumph. Earlier that season my Mauritian friend came over ot us and was treated to the Romford V Egham Town game at Sungate. Oddly enough considering the title of this link he purchased a Romford pennant which sat proudly in his bar back in his home country
