Coup, well intentioned I'm sure, but there really is no point. Unfortunately, I hear that the Wanderers given up and disbanded. Six of the lads have gone off to play rugby and the rest will probably go down the pub on a Saturday instead. The £3k they raised to cover start up costs, etc., has been donated to a local charity.


Now that is very sad to hear. Got any contacts for the late BW, would love to speak to somebody who was on high there.. PM with details...

Its funny how Apsa, Beaumont, Sporting Bengal and now Mauritus Sports gain 'Senior' status so easily yet more established clubs lower down with great set ups can't get promoted i.e. Essex Intermediate teams.

 

Not only that but grounds that were 'unsuitable' when I was at Eton Manor are now used by the said clubs.

The last time I went there, Aveley seemed to have a reasonable ground bolt
