Football Man - Obviously I meant at Coles Park, I passed the ground the other day and the hallowed turf still has a number of bald patches on the notorious problem areas that really need to be addressed professionally once and for all with big money rather than a few quid and a couple of bags of grass seed at the end of May every year.

Funny how you've brought a thread about the North Beds Charity Cup around to Haringey Borough, right from the first sentence of your first post! Even when the topic veered back to Biggleswade Town, you managed to swing it back towards Haringey again. You should seek treatment for that obsession. Maybe your club's trick cyclist could have a look at you?

F.Man. It was a warm evening. Spitted with rain at 6.15 for 15 minutes, then fine - although I admit to sitting under an umbrella outside a rather wonderfull very small pub on a scenic country lane for that period of time - and hence missed kick off by a few minutes. As a proper beer person, I was delighted to note that said pub didn't sell any lager whatsoever - bottled or draught. My pint of Timmy Taylors was the nuts.

 

Cambridge Colleges certainly don't muck about when it comes to playing surfaces, it was like a fine bowling green.
