Sporting Vs London APSA

Recommended Posts

what would we be saying if an ESL club i.e. bowers/concord/burnham said we are only allowing white people to play for us. no asians allowed because said clubs wanted to remain predominantly british??? there would be an uproar.

This is an odd topic...

I was under the impression teams like APSA were groups that only had Asian players playing for them...

This seemed to change quite dramatically over last couple of seasons, but there are still teams that only allow Asian players to play for them, due to being Asian predominantely run clubs...

I dont think thats racist. Its about as racist as saying no girls can play... grin

Anyone is quite welcome to play for APSA....therefore they are not racist.

I can only recall one recent incedence of a club being disciplined for racist actions..

A certain Sunday league side in South West London that were thrown out of the league for not allowing black opposition players to use their club bar

i think England is one of the most democratic countries in the world.just have a look at how many black players in their national squad.Even France has the majority of the players that are black. You can see how much the supporters identify themselves with those black players.it's called de-colonization..i mean everyone has to pay a price for mistakes occurred in the past or in the previous lives.By the way, always check their passports and any middle names... mad

Talk about timing! Today's NLD informs us that APSA's current manager, Lee Ward, has just stepped down after only a few months in charge.

Onebreast, I had a word with John this afternoon about your statement.

Firstly he doesn't know who you are and is certain that you haven't played for him! He "thinks it's funny that people like you hide behind a keyboard!"

Later he said that on speaking to one of his sons about things, it is possible that the son may have nicked a girlfriend of yours some time ago but apart from that cannot possibly see any connection or contact between the pair of you.

He says that if you have the bottle, pm me your phone number and he'll phone you up for a chat about the issue.

The ball is is your court!
