Yeh it's all been said, we all know that the fuddy duddies took so long to meet and then eventually decide, that a points deduction was not right at that time, they made their decision, a £5.5 fine end of...

All the clubs signed to say they accepted the tribunal sitting on such affairs the the Blades decided they would challenge it having broken the transfer rule themselves with Steve Kabba.

If the arbitration mob had have decided to overturn the tribunal or ask for a "retrial" it would have gone on till next year with Wets Ham challenging and then rechallenging, so they took the oly practical solution.

From now on though the governing bodies need to look at their procedures and of course the best type of cure is prevention and to be one step ahead instead of sitting in their little boxes watching the world go by.

I would compare that to a ref who deals with a problem on the pitch by sticking up a coloured card instead of talking to the players initially which could have prevented any mishaps or shenanigans.

West Ham have released a statement saying Tevez is going nowhere and is signed to the club until 2012.

 

It appears that the situation is no better than when West Ham were fined.

 

Could West Ham get a points deduction for the coming season or will someone from the Premier league admit to incompetence and resign.
