Excellent! The moany sods didn't seem to care about West Ham's supposed illegal deal when Wigan were set for the drop. As soon as the Blades went down, they started complaining and Wigan shut up! Funny how circumstances affect moral judgements...

Unfortunately, it would have been much more amusing had that nice Mr Warnock been in charge still, instead of thinking that he was a Ferguson/Wenger/Mourinho etc, & jumping ship....

Exactly my feelings on it. Especially as drawn-out legal cases and football promotion and relegation issues do not sit well together.

Yes, indeed my naughty employers are trying to finish Leeds off it would seem. They owe HMRC a large sum of money and apparently our debt poeple were not happy with the proposals to resolve the situation. I am sure that it will all be sorted out in the end!!!!

Why ? what is your gripe ? I am not moaning, just stating an opinion ! As the great Super Daz/FF once said...this is a forum for debate.....so what is your take on the subject ? or are you a whinging blade ?

Think the Blades have every right to be upset... No-one would want to be relegated from any division (let alone the cash-cow that is the Prem) knowing that another side had possibly stayed up using means less than fair.

 

Can't see a sensible outcome tbh, maybe the Prem should just bung them a few million extra compensation. There is no way they will relegate WHU in their place. The only alternative would be a 21 team league

I think he was referring to the Blades themselves rather than the above posters.

Perhaps, rather than spend yet more money on pointless court challenges, they should use said cash to invest in some top quality Championship players to aid a swift return to the Premiership.

If it's purely a moral victory they're after (since it seems unlikely the Premier League's judgment can be reversed), though, they'll certainly be watching this proposed transfer with interest.

However, and not wishing to be seen as sympathetic to the piggy b*stards cause, I am not totally convinced that the Premier League know what they are doing.........

This post is a personal opinion and, on the understanding that we still have some free speech laws working to an extent in this country, I assume that I won't be prosecuted for voicing such an opinion, albeit in "writing" !!

The decision's got nothing to do with the Premier League.

 

Maiking it a 21 team league would be unfair to the rest of the Premiership, then each team would have to give up a percentage of their share of the pie.

I think people, and the Blades themselves seem to forget, they did not get relegated because West Ham had a questionable player, who scored goals at the end of the Season, they were relegated because they played crap all season, and when they had a chance to save themselves in the last match, failed miserably to do so!

Then they start clutching at straws to try and blame other people!
