Ian has created a Prediction League which I have (maybe unwisely) volunteered to run. There are some bugs and I just hope the program doesn't fall over! Ian says it wont smile

 

If you want to register I will enter a few "dummy" games so you can get to know how it all works prior to the big day. Maybe I will also learn how it works by then frown I will determine the scores by drawing numbers out of the hat - so I will play along as well!

 

At present the points structure is as follows:-

 

 

Correct Home Score = 1 Point

Correct Away Score = 1 point

Correct Result = 2 points

Correct Result with correct score = 5 points

 

Everything Wrong = minus 2 points

 

The monthly leader also appears to be awarded 10 bonus points.

 

We can change the points structure before launch if necessary. We are trying to keep the points scores down to make things more realistic.

This wasn't meant to be released yet frown As I will probably have to delete the database.

 

Anyone signing up now to test will have to re-sign up for real - sorry frown

I did PM you with an apology Ian. If you want to pull the plug please do so. I just thought that some of the users would like to get familiar with the interface.

Me too, but I thought it would be useful for everyone to get to grips with the way the software works instead of getting all the problems on the first day of the season. Seems I was wrong. Fair enough. laugh
