SCS shows the way

Porka

Recommended Posts

By signing a new two-year contract according to today's Thanet Times. He gives an interview and says he is very happy here and has felt welcome from the day he arrived here. He speaks of how Trotty is easy to get on with compared to other managers he's worked with and that he's looking forward to a successful season.

Well done Scott and Trotty.

So all that bull suggested about them not getting on was a load of rubbish as usual then. Thanks for that Porka, great to have him here too I must say, can only get better in my books.

Top man and well done SCS, RT and club.

My personal prediction is that SCS will leave for a league club in January and we will get a £15k fee.

There again, i said the same thing last season about september.

A bit harsh MM - the guy has two jobs and has to juggle around that as well to get a family holiday in. CK always used to holiday during the PSF's which surely is a time to assess players under match conditions.
In another thread it was suggested that 1st team training starts Thursday ... thinking about it the Times interview would probably have been conducted last week - so RT being on holiday this week was most likely a referral to last week too. Hope he doesn't get too stressed getting back into the Country.

First few training sessions are normally running, so i guess if you're the boss you can get out of them.

When i'm away, mobile phone is pretty busy so hope its the same for RT lining up some players for the forthcoming season.

Better new though that at least we have some of last season's fringe players back with the reserves.

My money is on them all being part of the first team squad with hardly any new signings.

Whether thats because of funding restraints or RT's lack of contacts guess we will never know.

Didn't mean to 'diss' CK - what I was trying to point out was that it wasn't unusual for a part time Manager to take a break in or around pre-season. One positive is that they do have complete faith in their Assistant Manager / Coach.
