Has he actually signed on the dotted line for KTFC yet Rhodes?

Like I said I saw him yesterday and he said he couldn't wait to run out at the Copthall Stadium and at Lowfield in the Vase for that matter, he hasn't physically signed on the dotted line but his word is his bond.

And he can do both of those if he signs for Hoddesdon!

In my experience, lots of players will tell a club what it wants to hear but at this time of year they are very much free agents to do what they like.

Yes but this is different, Lee Scott is our bread and butter, the jewell in the crown and the goose that laid the golden egg, we would be out of our minds to let him walk away.

To an extent I agree. But a good percentage are prepared to be honest and openly discuss their situation, given the opportunity to do so.

But no doubt at all, players have some hard thinking to do at this time of year about where they want their credibility/ambitions/social circle/ to go (depending on how they look at their football). Some are happy to stay with their mates, others have limitations with their work, others have a certain drive. Personal, but important choices.

Is this comment connected in any way to a large number of last seasons Potters Bar Town squad leaving Parkfield in their droves, you seem to have kept that quiet.

Football Man - He hasn't considered it for one second though, that's the thing, Saf06 is on a wind up and hasn't spoken to Lee Scott since the end of January. I have nothing against Broxbourne and think they are a potentially big Club in a good catchment area with excellent facilities but, with respect, Lee wouldn't go there in a million years.
