Talk about the luck of the draw.

Needless to say we're rubbing our hands at having to go to Lowfield.

Personally, I like visiting new grounds in the Vase.

This usually means we either get drawn at home, or away at places I've already been to. In the 1st round proper we are away at either Concord or London Colney or Oxhey, and I've been to all of those.

Simple. It's called the luck of the draw!!

Luck of the draw? I thought that teams were only given byes if they had progressed to a certain stage the previous season. As we have only played in the FA trophy once, back in the early 70's, I just thought we start at the qualif round.

So if its just the luck of the draw its a RESULT! a home tie with Ryman Prem Hastings United, and in the FA Cup an away tie to the winners of Daventry united v Raunds Town....BRING EM ON!

Well you would look upon it in that way.

It's strange you should bring that up as I was only thinking about it the other day. I remember you made out you were over the moon about the draw when you could have got a far easier one and possibly reached the 1st Round proper of the competition for the first time in your history. Instead you went down 3-0, if I recall, to your illustrious opponents albeit having played reasonably well.

The result perhaps which may have been 3-1, I know for a fact though that you did a great job of making out it was the best draw you could have wished for but deep down you knew you were out as soon as your name came out of the velvet bag and I don't believe you made a fortune from the gate either.

Okay 3-2 then but the bit that got me was 'Woking were now running riot' which would indicate a one sided encounter:

What are your thoughts on possibly facing us and our new look team in The Vase then Cecil?

(Good training session tonight - some of the new lads looked quality)
