It ain't all bad

Bit of a depressing few weeks with the off field issues and lack of player signings.

 

Reflecting a bit further though, assuming we have been informed correctly, think can still assemble the following side;which actually looks pretty good to me.Just not enough of them:

 

SCS

 

Smith Saunders Trott Skinner

 

McKimm Standen

 

Yianni Pinnock JJ

 

Haworth

 

sub: Bagley if he is still with us

 

Have i missed anyone ?

 

Certainly that team would be good enough for mid table or better.

 

Not saying we want to see JS in defence and Trott out of semi-retirement, but its 11 players of a pretty good standard in fairness.

 

If we had kept hold of last seasons fringe players,we would even have had a squad .

 

3 weeks to the Grays game !!

 

And the pitch must be looking great and very lush ?

 

Do we start training on Tuesday.

I'd like to think RT has got some good training drills out, and maybe good pre-season work on fitness and organization, will compensate for any other on-pitch shortcomings.

Its that time of year when you can't help to be positive about things befoe the first defeat and slap in the face of reality hits you !!
