3praise - Sorry to change the subject but as 'our' thread was deleted by Wader I'm not sure where else to post this question.

In the Tottenham Journal today it has the following two liner under the heading 'Market Stalls Set For Return':

 

'A market selling new and second hand goods may return to White Hart Lane. Haringey Council has received an application to renew the use of Coles Park Playing Fields car park as a market of up to 80 stalls between 7am and 1pm on Saturday's and Sunday's. The application includes plans for a traffic patrol to ensure that the market does not cause disruption for residents and surrounding businesses'.

 

I'm a little confused as I thought the market was still on every weekend and hadn't actually stopped running.

3praise - It's interesting that as soon as I ask whether you have seen the Tottenham Journal today you disappear. Further to my earlier post there is also a lengthy piece on 'our' game at Stony Stratford on Saturday containing the following interesting comments from Allan Fenn:

 

Allan Fenn has vowed to shake up Haringey Borough's defence after seeing his side slump to their first defeat in his five game tenure. With the race for promotion growing ever more competitive Borough surrendered top spot and, with Hoddesdon Town winning, the Coles Park Club are now down to third. Now Fenn is planning wholesale changes, "We have the best attack in the league but I think we might have the worst defence so I'm going to have to bring in three or four players this week" he said. "It's nothing to do with the attitude of the lads, they have been absolutely first rate but we have conceded eight in the last two games and some of those goals have been down to bad individual errors". After turning down a job offer last week Fenn has now been given the go ahead by Borough's board to utilise his extensive contacts in the non league game and bring in more players. "I couldn't ask for any more support from the Directors and that is why I turned down a job offer from a Ryman Division 1 North side last week" said Fenn. " I'm here for the long run and I want to get this team through the leagues, we have set a target of getting promotion this season but I won't settle for anything less than the title". Fenn insists that if the Club can hang onto the likes of Chima Obiji and Ronardson Obinna they can be a match for anyone in the middle reaches of the non league pyramid. "I've spent a lot of time in the game and attacking wise we have enough quality to give any Ryman Premier Division side a game. Neutral fan has abused his position by changing posts. He's not just deleting offensive material and stating what he's done he is making subtle changes to posts ( perhaps just rhodes' but how can we tell)These subtle changes like deleting or adding "not" or "un" arent spotted by the author perhaps but are taken as gospel by the new reader and completely change the meaning of the post.

 

We cant believe all we read but we should be able to believe the poster wrote what we read.

 

It is not surprising that rhodes is peeved with this.

 

Wader has deleted two threads I believe. I would normally go alongwith his judgement but on this occasion I diasgree.

the action is not going to stop Rhodes going on about Haringey and wader has left a thread for this anyway.

 

Deleting these threads stops the new reader getting some insight and background to this affair, and if its the ones with the shirt and ball it should be published not suppressed.

Far from helping rhodes "move on" from Haringey it just adds fuel to the conspiracy fire, sugar stroking his white cat in his cave advising wader on what will happen to him if he is disappointed.
