This would not only confirm your suspicions it would also fall into line with your job description, ie, raising funds for KTFC.

Really, you'll have to tell me more someday, apparently 'Sugar' delights in rubbing shoulders with the hoity-toity Nazeing set and is a distinguished member of their successful Cricket Club hence his preference to play for them on Saturday afternoons rather than go to watch Haringey Borough.

Are you referring to the the pre-season friendly at Basildon United and Saturday's FA Vase match at Hoddesdon Town. If so the reasons have already been explained on more than one occasion, for your information I asked our Secretary whether he had made contact with the Lowfield hierarchy to enquire whether they were prepared to bring the kick off forward so 'the great one' could attend and then hot foot it to Wembley to watch his son lead the Israel attack against England however I understand that the request fell on deaf ears.

Quite right too. Why should Hoddesdon alter ther preparations for an important cup competition just to fit in with the family counselling arrangements of a member of the visiting team's backroom staff?

That's your opinion but I can't see why Hoddesdon are unwilling to bring the kick off forward an hour to 2.00, it wouldn't have been any skin off their nose and meant more drinking time in the bar afterwards leading up to the England v Israel game particularly with NeutralFan, Jonno and Tourboy knocking them back.

Hoddesdon had probably heard about Kentish Town not being able to easily negotiate the "notorious" A10, so didn't think they'd be able to make an early KO.

And that's a fluffy bunny compared to the A14 at Cambridge from the end of M11 to South Huntingdon. More accidents and more injuries in any one month than one episode of Casualty! More people die in a year on that stretch of road than have ever done so in Midsomer. It's called Death Row!

Was on the A14 last week, didn't realise you could get to Biggs from there. I always went through the A414.

Prefer the A414 to get into Herts - Much easier and not a lot of difference in mileage or time (well for me)
