Below the forum index there is a box labelled "Display Options" which is set by default to only show topics active in the last 2 weeks - change that if you want to see older posts.

HTFCew - What can I say, many thanks for that, can one also post on an old thread and bring it back onto the first page as it were.

3praise - I would like confirmation that the Chairman of Haringey Borough Football Club, namely 'Sugar', will not be at Coles Park tomorrow for their Centenary celebration match, a yes or no reply will suffice.

Horace - I have transferred this to the thread you kindly created as I have a feeling this one will run and run. Thanks for commenting but I don't believe for one minute you would not cancel your holiday, or indeed postpone your departure, for a day, 'Sugar' left London on Friday which is even more unforgiveable, besides my guess is that George wasn't there yesterday either so he couldn't have asked his Vice Chairman to deputise. It will be interesting to hear what 3praise has got to say for himself but I doubt whether he will back on here again after this latest scandal to hit the Club.

This is why I get so angry with you! chainsaw

Who are you to tell me whether I would cancel my holiday or not!
I like to keep a sense of proportion in all things - I would deal with the situation in the way I outlined. Most people have some sense of proportion, but a few don't....

Horace - Look, you are a football man through and through whereas 'Sugar' isn't, as Chairman of Hertford Town, which is a distinguished position to hold, you would not have disappeared on holiday the day before your Centenary match knowing that the SSML Chairman and Treasurer were attending to present the trophy. You would also have invited the local press, whereas you can virtually guarantee Haringey didn't, embarrassing questions would be asked if the Club Chairman was not in the photo.

I wouldn't know as I don't know what he looks like. Anyway I'm sure he had a valid excuse.

Welcome back, I would have had money on you never posting again and I have to give you credit, you've got the skin of a snake. So straight down to business then, how on earth could 'Sugar' go on holiday the day before 'our' Centenary Cup game on Saturday knowing that the SSML Chairman and Treasurer were turning up, surely that says it all about him and what I've been banging on about for the past year.

Wader - I've lost you there I'm afraid. How are you getting on with the tome by the way, are you on page two yet.
