Shyboy - I refer you to an earlier post I made and you're spot on as I will not give up the fight, 'Sugar' or one of his henchmen will have to put a gun to my head and pull the trigger to stop me getting to the bottom of the shirt and ball issue and 3praise is doing his utmost to muddy the waters. I haven't been able to access Jonno's link today which appears to give new evidence however if I feel this is in the Police's interests I will forward it to Chief Superintendent O'Brien tomorrow. There are those who choose to trivialise the crime and deflect blame, but even this thread shows what great good can come from a signed ball and shirt, or a signed shirt and ball, especially if it comes from the world famous home of the Spurs.

 

Thankfully there are still some honourable people left in the world and particularly parts of North London who are prepared to dedicate themselves to the pursuit of truth.

 

They should be praised 3 or 5 fold not ridiculed.

TheSpursFan - Your good self and Shyboy are really doing me proud, I expect a fair number of people on here think that this matter is some sort of joke or wind up however nothing could be further from the truth. Just to recap, following the fire at Coles Park in March last year Spurs very kindly donated a signed shirt and football to Haringey Borough so they could be auctioned off, 'Sugar' told me to stand down in no uncertain terms and said he would collect the shirt and ball himself however that was the last I heard as I severed ties with the Club shortly after that. It is now apparent that 'Sugar' deviously went down to the Spurs ground to collect the shirt and ball keeping it Royal Secret from everyone and the items hold pride of place in his home as he is a Spurs fan, this surely can't be right as they should have been auctioned off as Spurs had insructed in Gary Broadhurst's e-mail below:

What do you think, 'Sugar' did reply to my e-mail but ensured that he did not touch on the shirt and ball issue where, if you recall, I stated that I had my suspicions he had not collected them from Spurs although we now know the truth. His reply contained a ridiculous rant about me calling the Women's team 'Borough Belles' and that he wanted what I had placed on the Club Website deleted with immediate effect, you may be interested to see an extract of my response to that as follows:

'I strongly believe you simply want the contents expunged because you are a control freak and run the Club as a dictatorship, Mugabe, Ceaucescu and Amin style. There is no need for this at all and I think you have become somewhat power crazy since being handed the Chairmanship reins following Peter’s resignation dismissing all and sundry at the drop of a hat'.

Does anyone who hasn't read my post of several months ago on the subject want to hazard a guess as to why clip Rods was sacked by Haringey Borough shortly after this?

Football Man - Well what was wrong with that particular extract from an e-mail I sent to 'Sugar' last year, I felt my comments were mild and I was being kind to him if anything.
