Uncle Urchin - I'm sorry I missed you last Friday as we could have compared notes and chatted about Henry Root, I gather you were otherwise indisposed. What is your take on the signed shirt and ball episode, don't you think 3praise should finally come clean as we have obviously got 'Sugar' by the short and curlies.

I know Unc likes to be pre-judged, so I'll pre-judge him, and say he dont give a toss......as long as the pinko leftie scum gives that ball and shirt back pronto !!!

 

(of course I might only be saying this so he'll give us his true insight to this epic matter, an issue which has captivated not only the non-league world, but also the continent of Africa (home of the great one) and the metropolitan police force)

Greg Dyke - I would still like to get Uncle Urchin's expert view on the subject as I gather he used to be a Club Chairman and I'm sure would never keep a signed ball and shirt for himself that had been kindly donated for auction purposes. I agree that this does seem to be a topic that has captivated a nation however I strongly feel that 3praise should now come on and put us all out of our misery as he clearly knows full well what happened to the shirt and ball.

Recently I have been reading your posts with a New York accent, to make them more amusing (I know this may seem hard to imagine, how could they possibly be MORE amusing !)

 

May I ask if you read my posts in any particular accent ?

No if you want to read my posts in a New York accent then that's fine by me. I was actually more interested to hear that you're a fan of George and Lynne as I am too, Lynne really set my pulses racing years ago and I always thought that George was the luckiest bloke on the planet.

It's a great thread. Please keep it going. On a more serious note, if I was the HFC chairman, I would have kept the shirt and ball, sold them on e-bay and spent my ill gotton gains on loose women and cheap wine!!! drinkies

The first bit of your post made a lot of sense as had 'Sugar' collected the shirt and ball and sold them on e-bay for a few hundred pounds and openly declared it that would have been perfectly fine however he did no such thing and just kept them for himself hoping the matter would never be raised again. Unfortunately for him he did not account for my meticulous approach of leaving no stone unturned, he also should know better being a legal Solicitor and how easy it can be to be caught with your trousers down when you're not acting in a whiter than white fashion. Clearly 'Sugar' is guilty as charged as 3praise hasn't been on to deny the allegations against him.
