The Rhodes bitch against Haringey Borough thread

I can see how it may come across as arrogant to someone with your lack of understanding of running football clubs, but it isn't.

Hardly rocket science, given that I've already posted about the game on the Romford forum and that there were only two games in the local area last night and I'd already said I wasn't at the other one!

Thought about coming down Friday Paula, but probably won't. As Southend are bringing the first team, by the time I get down there from work it'll be murder finding somewhere to park, getting into the ground, getting into the bar... not really worth it for a friendly.

No of course not, that's because I said I might be going on Friday and you don't want another 23 December type situation on your hands. As for your arrogance that's exactly how you came across and I'm sure everyone else felt the same way, what surprises me is that if you left Potters Bar Town of your own accord then why suggest that they won't be able to do without you and everything will fall apart at the seems, why not be supportive and say that your door is always open and the new Secretary is welcome to call on you anytime for advice and guidance.

You seem to be using this more and more in your posts and personally I don't think the same way as you on hardly anything!

clip Rods, you do seem to have developed this insistance on talking complete bullshit about topics you know little of and then trying to pass them off as the gospel that everyone else must follow.

I don't recall you saying that and whether you decide to go or not has no bearing on whether I decide to go or not. I don't think anyone believes you will be going anyway and, even if you did, there would be a large enough crowd to be able to avoid plonkers like you. Let's face it, I went to three Haringey Borough U16 matches two seasons ago at Coppermill Lane that you were at and managed to avoid you at each one even though there were only about 10-20 people at each game so it wouldn't be difficult at Canvey!

NF's last post has already completely disproved this point. Nice try, though!

Can you show me the evidence of where I have said this?

Who says I haven't been supportive? The new secretary has been given all the advice and support he has asked for. In fairness, as he was Secretary of a Ryman League club until the middle of last season he hasn't needed much guidance from me - hence the comment that I would stay away last night and let him get on with things in his own style. I have, however, sent him templates of various forms and documents which he was very grateful for as he said it would save him hours of work. So, if you want to make an allegation that I have not been supportive, you need to either back it up with evidence or apologise and restrict your future comments to things that you have at least a half-decent knowledge of!

Now wheres that shirt and ball

Whatever gives you that idea?? They are good mates really. Its just a show I think!!

I have a signed ball - one says Potters Bar Town and the other says Maldon Town.

Oh and as for the shirt, have a signed one of them too (Canvey)

Do you think they are the ones they are looking for??

The Pagester - Yes and I wonder why that is, maybe it's because he doesn't like the truth when confronted by it and it's noticeable that he always gets out of his pram as soon as I touch on something particularly sensitive to him such as Potters Bar Town or our ill fated groundshare at Parkfield in 2005/2006 where he all but clicked his heels and prevented us from entering the prestigious FA Vase.

3praise - Instead of wasting your time doing that you might want to inform me and the good members on here, who are waiting patiently, what happened to the signed ball and shirt, it is noticeable that you are being purposely evasive which is a sign of guilt.

No, I just get great enjoyment showing him up to be a prat. It is quite amazing that he "talks the talk" regarding going to the Police about this, that and the other. Can you imagine what would happen if they actually took any of his nonsense seriously and he had to attend Court as a witness. Given his tendency to make assumptions without evidence, post inaccurate information, self-contradict himself, fail to give straight answers to straight questions, etc., etc., he would be laughed out of the Courthouse. Unless, of course, he got stuck in the slammer for contempt!

Keep going with the ball and shirt stuff, clip Rods. Maybe we'll only get some peace and quiet on here when you're locked up.
