Greg Dyke - This was a thread created by Horace a while back publicising 'the great one's' close friendship with Roy Keane

I've got this vision of Rhodes hogging 2 PC's next to each other.. one labelled 'TheSpursFan' and the other 'Rhodes'.

Jumping between the two like Zebedee!!

Well according to 3praise that is 'Kanu' talking of which he is very conspicuous by his absence following my e-mail to the Borough Commander, I wonder whether 'Sugar's collar has been felt yet.

I am 2 pages into this thread...another good one !!!

but all I am reading is about how a mock up picture of the Sunderland AFC web page caused consternation in some quaters...no mention of Keane or Beardsley yet !!!!

I Love Clifford Rhodes.....

Just spent 20 minutes of my life reading the linked thread above, supposedly about Roy and Clement....(only Clement is not very "administrative minded" and wont contact Keane)

Rhodes...you are king of the wind-ups !!!

hahahahahaha duck

Greg Dyke - I assure you I am not on a wind up, I've never been more serious in my life. Here is yet another thread on 'the great one' with some pics:

but its all gone tets up now Rhodes, you havent really been down the emirates cap in hand with the great one in tow have you?

I see the connection, you bedouins need to stick together, but here I am hacking in to the cctv at the world famous home of the spurs, sifting through each frame looking for the guilty one and you Sir, are scoffing frogs legs and snail, and frankly prostituting yourself, the great one and your club.

I hope you can rest at night, case in hand.

TheSpursFan - It's not like that at all and I'm sorry if you have got the wrong end of the stick, we have strong links in Islington and Camden so it makes sense to ask Arsenal to help us out financially and set up a Community partnership. When I was at Haringey Borough I tried to do exactly the same with Spurs who, as you know, are half a mile away however 'Sugar' didn't want to know for sinister reasons although he was quick enough to pick up the signed ball and shirt when it suited him.

im sorry Rhodes I cant see it. You are playing at Barnet/shaftesbury avenue something, nothing to do with Woolwich Wanderers or Camden/Islington. If you were playing at Finsbury Park with the American football squad I could maybe understand it. Take their francs and euros if you can, but how you can then ask Inspector Monk and mr O'Brien to take time off from the garden of the year competition to help solve the crime of the millenium is beyond me.

I am appalled.

You make a good point and I agree wholeheartedly but what can we do, rest assured our heart is in the right place and there is nothing cloak and dagger about it, if we were playing in Cornwall for example and there was a chance of a few quid in Cumbria we would happily chase it, that's football at our level.

Ive never heard such nonsense, Rhodes. Our local club in Surrey is so rich, and so community minded it allows local businesses to advertise free in the programme, and have banners round the ground free of charge. When you write to them offering to pay they dont even embarrass anyone by answering!

Like Barcelona they have refused to have shirt sponsorship until last season, perhaps you should take a leaf out of their book before going begging nation wide!

Yes another good point, I'll run that one by the Club's hierarchy when we next meet, as I'm no longer Secretary I cannot automatically implement procedures however there must be more than one way to skin a cat.
