The Rhodes bitch against Haringey Borough thread

In other words he wasn't there, thanks for answering the question albeit not in a straight forward fashion. I am appalled that a Chairman cannot be bothered to go and watch his Club's first game of a new campaign but not surprised.

Paulb - That was the whole point of Horace helpfully creating this thread so people not interested in the sinister activities of 'Sugar' wouldn't need to get involved, why did you click into it if it's so predictable.

something like...

9am-Rhodes decides to act tough and asks why "sugar" has not admitted that he has the ball and shirt yet

10am-3praise tells Rhodes that he should get a life, ask "sugar" himself and stop droning on about a trivial issue

11am-I post a duck

12noon-Rhodes gives everyone a deadline, after which he will produce the nail in the coffin (and other such expressions) and march down to 10 downing street to meet with Gordon Brown (someone he knows very well, from an e-mail he sent Gordon, that was read by a civil servant)

1pm-3praise asks Rhodes if he is a Harringey Borough fan ?

2pm-Rhodes responds to say that 3praise should know the answer already

3pm--Westie draws a big phallic c0000000000000000000000ck all over the page

4pm--Rhodes deadline expires, Rhodes expected as much, "sugar" and his poodle are clearly guilty then...decides judge jeffreys

5pm--Rhodes asks Paula why she didnt return his calls, and why she now leaves work by the back exit, as if to avoid him

6pm--NF posts some breasts

7pm--Rhodes confirms he is a happily, un-married man, with 8 children, who doesnt surf the internet cafes or google in libraries for porn

8pm--Football man wonders what Rhodes' new club think about him being on line all the time, obsessing over his former master

9pm--Rhodes refutes that he is on line all the time, he just happens to be near a switched on computer

10pm--Annie BUNDLE bounce

blah blah blah blah blah blah

Half an hour to go before I get typing, even if 'Sugar' hasn't seen the deadline himself 3praise will have no doubt alerted him to it or indeed the Club Secretary who, rest assured, is on here from afar all the hours God sends monitoring every post made.

I've posted this in the Premiership section.

The BBC were keen to point out that the clubs were only VISITED.

Any bets on the first person to be charged ?

3praise - I gave you ample time to respond on behalf of 'Sugar' to my question as to the whereabouts of the signed shirt and ball that Spurs kindly donated to 'us', the matter is now in the hands of Tottenham Police:

Dear Cheif Superintendent O'Brien

I'm sorry I missed you at the St Ann's Open Day on 30 June, Inspector Monk deserves great credit for co-ordinating such a successful event.

I'm afraid I have to write to you concerning an alleged theft from Tottenham Hotspur Football Club and I attach background detail to bring you fully up to speed with the case. Gary Broadhurst, who at that time worked for the Club's Community and Social Exclusion Arm, very kindly donated a signed shirt and ball to Haringey Borough Football Club following the fire at Coles Park in March last year however although Mr Broadhurst states in his recent e-mail that the shirt and ball were collected by the Club Chairman he has not confirmed this to be the case and I can therefore only assume that the items were stolen, possibly by an imposter who posed as a representative of Haringey Borough.

I appreciate that you have far more pressing matters to deal with however I wonder whether you would be so kind as to investigate what became of the shirt and ball which would have raised a tidy sum for the Football Club if auctioned off as was the intention.

Many thanks and I look forward to seeing you again soon.

Best Wishes

Clifford Rhodes

can I be the CPS ????

duck

(1) surely it's not a theft, if Tottenham gave up the stuff willingly

(2) gary broadhurst didnt say the shirt and ball were collected by the club chairman

anyway, surely with the £100 you saved from the recent night out from no-shows, you could donate that to Haringey Borough.....replacing any sum that would have been raised

matter over !

Creep!

Surely it is down to the people who have suffered an alleged theft to report the matter to the Police? Unless the "crime" is reported by THFC, why should the Police take the matter seriously?

No, he doesn't!

Only an assumption? No proof, then? I can see this being top of the Police's agenda!

Another assumption made without any proof? Two in one sentence - that's some going!

So, why bother? Do you think it will take their minds off of issuing ASBO's to your kids as they aimlessly wander the streets of Haringey and Tottenham at night?

Where is your proof of this?

Greg Dyke

1. 'Sugar' hasn't confirmed that he collected the items despite having plenty of opportunity to do so on here so I can only assume that they were stolen by an imposter.

2. Gary Broadhurst did say in his e-mail that the shirt and ball were collected by the Club Chairman.

Football Man - I appreciate your thoughts on this, I still value your opinion despite our differences however if 'Sugar' (or his poodle 3praise) had come on before Close of Business today to explain what happened to the shirt and ball then none of this would have been necessary, I gave them more than enough time to do so.

Football Man - You are always trying to pick holes in everything I do, I'm sure if this was someone else wanting to see justice done then you would be in full agreement with them. The spell checker would have picked up on this before I sent the e-mail, I just copied the text of the 'draft' e-mail into the post for your information. Incidentally I also copied the e-mail to Spurs so they are fully aware of the investigations about to take place, I'm assuming they will give the police their full co-operation.
