Directors must not be a negative cost factor

If you do not pull the crowd to cover premier level costs and local sponsers are not up for large amounts then Non-league progress demands at least one and preferably two Directors who make positive cash input

Do your books show negative costs?

Apart from one or two exceptions gates appear to be down at most clubs in the Ryman. So presumably most clubs are finding it difficult to pay their players, one or two teams e.g. Braintree have had to clear out and bring in players on a lower wage we could be next.

But where are all these expensive players going to go, there are possibly only three or four Ryman teams who can bankroll these players and they must have a limit to their squad size.

Surely therefore the players themselves will have to re-consider what wage they expect to be paid by a club and set their sights a bit lower. This is just falling into line with the whole of football where there is less money about.

I agree therefore that the future is with young players and a manager who can build team spirit and play the best team available!

ps I still want to see a creative central midfielder though!

Selling the Grahams would be a disaster and possibly greatly affect our league position. But, if it is necessary then we have to do it. I will still watch Billericay whoever is in the team. Calder must go as soon as possible.

We've been unlucky with matches this season, a lack of regular Saturday games. We've also had a lot of postponements such as St Albans at home. If that game was played on Saturday we probably would have had 500-600 rather than the 200 and something we got, which is quite a loss of money.

the ggs going would be bad news for sure but if it has to be done it has to be done. we have done enough to be ok this year but the future isnt exactly beacon like is it.

the thing that miffs me most of all tho is all about our flash £12m ground that we may or may not have..yet we cant find 12 quid to maintain a respectable team. progress is 2 fold..off field and on field.....at least one of them isnt happening...come back mobrien all is forgiven!

There seems to be alot of concern amongst all supporters at the moment, but not much in the way of communication from the club. Perhaps a Fans Forum would be useful to kill a few rumours and to give all all those that are genuinly concerned the lowdown about the new ground/lack of funds/dissapointment on the pitch this season.

I'm sure that if we all knew what the club is up against we would all be more understanding and this would help everyone pull in the same direction. In my eyes, lack of communication with the fans is currently BTFC's biggest problem, not the need for a creative midfielder.

running any company needs forward planning and budgeting to stay above water, every company and football club in the world has to do this, if your lucky and get a cup run thats should be a bonus,if you dont or you get your figures wrong you sink, perhaps weve got our figures wrong , how will we be able to run a multi million pound complex ? maybe this has come at the right time for the club, lets settle at a level we can afford and not get our fingers burnt, shame but theres a lot of clubs below us.
