Apparently we couldnt give him a contract because of "the work permit situation" according to Liam's comment in the Reporter - he also says that York may not be where Sodje ends up this year - he thinks the move was driven by Sodje's advisors, and wasnt Onome's real choice. He says that because of the Work Permit situation, someone else could come in & do exactly the same to York as they did to us with a 7 day approach.

So Sodje wasnt on Contract at Fleet? We nearly signed him but liam got him to stay at Fleet.

 

Why cant it be simple, you sign for a club you are contracted and to lose the player he must be out of contract or be bought by a club. All of this Permit, Experience, Season loan malarkey is a load of guff.

 

On a said issue have Fleet had to pay the appearance bonus to Welling for James Smith yet?
