Didn't matt miller get injured in the warm up? Steve Daley scored in the 3rd minute and we hung on for dear life for the rest of the game in the rain.

We certainly played without a striker. It was one of those games that was sort of a classic but more because of the tension and the circumstance rather than any decent football.

I seem to remember Nick Gyoury wearing the 10 and playing support striker to someone (Spencer?) with about 2 other centre-halves in midfield! Good job we won that tie, looking back!

FA Cup Slough Town vs Fleet Town

1st Qualifying Round Slough or Fleet vs Marlow Utd or Cove or Gosport Borough

 

FA Trophy Slough Town vs Hillingdon Borough

1st Qual Round Slough or Hillingdon vs Bedworth Utd

Fleet could be a difficult one, but it would have been nice to play the next FA Cup round away. Never been to any of those grounds.

I think every game will be difficult next year and unless Wilko pulls some rabbits out of the hat I fear another struggle against relegation.

 

On the subject of Wilko do we know for definate that he has a budget to work with and if so, is it just expenses or can he actually pay them some wages to tempt some half decent players to the club.
