All been fairly quiet during the summer at Croydon Teffs, which I think is good news! smile

Finished last season well, and if most of the players stay, then I think we've got a good chance of at least challenging for the Kent League title next season. Will know more once pre-season starts.

Dickson Gill (well known to some of you) is still in charge. He's mellowed a bit! And his hair is now completely white/grey wink

How are things looking at Bookham next season? Hopefully you'll finish a bit higher up the league?

Good to hear alls quite for the Trams !! and goodluck for next season.

It's coming together for next season, we would like to finish higher and thats our target, learned alot last year, being our first season in senior football, but with all the players El Guffers signed on and the wages being paid out I think we'll be in for another tough season. Looking forward to it, especially being in the FA Cup for the 1st time smile

We lost to them in the 2nd Qualifying round last year. Sh!t team, but we were worse on the day. Four down, pulled two back but all to no avail. Scary ground, with a 20foot drop on the popular side...

Had a striker who looks like one of the 'sisters' from Shawshank. Think his name was Geddes.

Jurg78, Erith Town finished 14th out of 17 in the Kent League last season. Struggled for much of the season, but picked up a bit at the end.

Player-Manager is Mark Tompkins, whos cored a lot of goals for a lot of clubs in the Ryman League (Bromley Croydon Whyteleafe to name but three). He took over around October last season. Only other player I know down there Danny Bower (ex Croydon Whyteleafe defender)

Again, managed to miss both Croydon's games with them last season, so can't really comment much more, although I think if I remember correctly, they've got an athletics track around the pitch

Just discovered that our opponents, Saltdean United, are the lowest ranked club in the entire FA Cup. No pressure then! Only Step 7 club in the FA Cup. Sussex County League Div 3. Sure they used to be in Sussex 1 not that long ago
