How did AFC Hornchurch enter in the FA Cup in 2006

Perhaps somebody could answer this question.

I understand that AFC Hornchurch were formed in 2006 out of the ashes of Hornchurch FC. If so how were they able to compete in the FA cup without falling foul of these rules.

ELIGIBLE CLUBS

Participation in the Competition shall be open to:

all Clubs taking part in a senior League or Competition sanctioned by The Association or an affiliated Association as determined by The Association from time to time.

ii) Clubs affiliated to The Football Association of Wales participating in The FA Premier League, The Football League or The FA Challenge Trophy Competition. Club not participating in The FA Premier League or The Football League Competitions

must have competed in either The FA Challenge Trophy or the FA Challenge Vase Competitions in the previous season, and must be accepted into a League for the current season which is considered to be acceptable for entry into the Challenge Cup Competition.

6. ENTRY DATE

(a) A Club wishing to participate in the Competition shall complete and return an entry form together with the prescribed entrance fee to be received at The Association on or before 1

April in the season previous to the season in which such Club proposes to compete in the Competition. A Club that is either a Full or Associate Member of The Association who fail to pay The Association’s Membership subscriptions by 1 August may be subject to removal from the Competition.

You have raised these kind of matters before and I would ask that you please come and discuss with the club direct rather than post on a pubic forum.

Thanks mate(ess)

I cant believe no-one on this forum can come up with the answer...avoiding the question just leads to conspiracy theories..

Doesnt she deserve an answer ?

Simple. Enfield missed the deadline. They didn't fold and reform until about two or three weeks ago leaving them very little time to send their entry to the FA.

If memory serves me right Hornchurch had reformed well before the end of May leaving them time to get the relevant forms into the FA.

duck

Introduction ?

I am Greg Dyke's top butler....also a ladyboy, lefty pinko scumbucket (you know the type that is bringing this country to it's knees)
I am a sympaphiser with the real Wimbledon fans....and a disliker of the MK "dons"..mainly because I do not think the MK team should have taken the Wimbledon place in the league.
If Wimbledon were to fold, they should have started again at the correct level...maybe Ryman League level, as it is now...

No - you do not automatically get excluded the following season - each case is taken on its merits.

In the case of HFC, the player was on loan from Peterborough.

But he was cup tied with Cambridge City, who had him on an earlier loan. (He made his debut for Cambridge City against HFC in the league only a week earlier).

A club has to get permission from the player's own club to use that player in a cup match.

As Peterborough did not appear to know that he was cup tied, this brings the obvious question - did Cambridge City ask for permission? And if they did not, then they too should have been excluded.
