"A shareholder called the Club on Saturday morning advising us that he had received a letter from the Club’s Administrators, Langley Group LLP. This letter stated that the Club was in breach of its CVA agreement and as such a petition was to be ordered for the winding up of the Company. The breach was not in relation to keeping up with the CVA payments but to a modification of the agreement requiring all future payments to HM Revenue and Customs be made on time.

"The Directors have been representing themselves to both the Administrators and HM Revenue & Customs but have not yet reached a resolution. They are, however, hopeful that a resolution can be reached.

"Any further developments will be announced here.

Call me cinical but when you enter it to a CVA its the administrater who deals with the creditors direct not the club or directors because thats what their paid for to administrate. The whole idea of a CVA is so your creditors cant contact direct only through you IP (insolvancy Practictioner)

agree with Tony T the only thing that stinks is about 5ft 8 where`s glasses smokes like a trooper and the last 2 times ive seen him he`s been working behind the bar at the club with a big f...ing grin on his face , don`t want to upset anyone but he`s bleeding the club dry , he saved us once and he know`s that and this is why he`s still there and alot of people will back him because of that . 5 yrs ago we were all cheering in the club house about what will be happening to MFC we`re still waiting now , there`s something wrong somewhere.

Thats unfair, whether you like him or not he has put shed loads of money and time into this

How many directors of other clubs would work behind the bar, to create money for the club, and save money on wages, and if you work behind the bar you should have a great big smile on your face

Perhaps he could quit smoking and put the money into the club - am sure that would cover quite a fair bit of the wage bill!!!!

As i understand the issue is with the administrators and their cut,i am sure this is why the club wants to pay direct to Inland Revenue,i have been told how much that cut is but can't say,i hope this may help, however i am only passing on what i have heard.

ok maybe abit over the top on some remarks Pagester but we all put money into the club weather it be a tenner or a ten thousand everyone is still putting in to keep the club going . You pointed out that what i said was unfair ok fair point but its also unfair that the fans never here anything unless its 2nd hand ,we get told in the local papers today that we can push for the playoff`s with the money we have but we don`t seem to have any , what`s being hiden from us , we are helping this club by doing everything we can week in week out to keep it afloat but as i and others have said we are the last to know , thats what is unfair and thats why there are so few of us at the games nowa-days because people are fed up with the way things have gone on . If we are a club with a crisis tell the fans and maybe there is a small chance that we could all help and if we failed then we could at least say we tried but to hush it all up is not the right way .

must admit i have at times thought life may be better without kp but as said above this man is a die hard gate fan (margate) and has sunk a hell of a lot of money into the club and has had to carry a very heavy tarred brush along the way, talk of a lot of people with a lot of money who are prepared to put it into mfc are talked about all the time but i am sure if these people are out there and it was right for the club kp would like to take up there offer and let them have a go, but where are they, please please this is my personal opinion not that it counts for a lot mind.
