Winding up order

a brighter note for you blues...

non payment of agreed creditor dividends in a CVA (I am assuming it is a CVA) is not the end of the world....the IR can be pacified if dealt with quickly in all of these cases....people just want their money and if its paid the uproar usually stops....the biggest danger is if the IP in the supervisory role deems (throuh creditor pressure) the club unable to meet its creditor dividends...

only a creditor will issue a winding up petition in a CVA unless under extreme circumstances the supervisor just cannot see a way forward through it....and even then a high court judge is unlikely to grant it without dire reason and certainly not over a few hundred quid.....especially against a community based football club..

keep the faith...t'aint good publicity but if the facts announced are correct...I'd be very surprised if it didn't all blow over...

hope so.... laugh

You know I have been sitting here this morning browsing the various forums, catching up of ours, and out of nowhere came the thought - I wonder what old Dennis would have had to say about all this winding up order business . . . We are definitely going to miss him!

...or pay by BACS and save the cost of the cheque processing and postage (not to mention the lawyers' fees when a cheque goes missing). It only takes 10 minutes to set up.
