and still no official statement released yet!! not being funny but if i worked for the club and saw this on the forum (albeit an unofficial one) i would be straight on and putting things right, the longer there is no statement the longer i believe that this whole thing is true because if it wasnt then as soon as i arrived at work i would release a statement categorically denying anything!!!!

his latest post on the dover forum reads as follows;

I know this isn't DAFC-related - but feel a bit sorry for Margate fans, who are getting NO information from their club.

I've just spoken to Alan Simons, the CVA supervisor, who has CONFIRMED that he has been instructed by the Inland Revenue to wind up the club.

He stated to me that the club had not kept up with recent tax PAYE payments, "hundreds not thousands of pounds", he said, and as a result the CVA has also been cancelled.

The club have a "very, very small chance" of saving themselves from this situation - but "would be docked 10 points next season" if they were to survive for being insolvent.

i wouldnt want to name drop but have it on authority that mr simmons is not even in the country, that is still not to say that justin has not spoken to him, and that a statement will be released as soon as all the facts are in and that the last words were 'we are not conerned'

but thats not to say that we are not

The shaky financial situation of the club and the secrecy around it has always worried me.

There have been so many schemes that seemed to be little more than castles built on sand.

I knew somebody connected with link records. They thought the management of the club was erm "not that good"

But i know that KP is hardly an absentee director,so just hoped for the best.

If this is all true would the club be allowed to stay in the Rymans? With all their debts wiped out? If so!!!!
