I had to laugh at this!!!

On the Enfield forum talking about the demise of enfield and the fact they will be in the ESL next season.

Someone asks about promotion out of the ESL next season and our good friend at romford Teabag says that it is unlikely as they have a ten point deduction at the start of the season.

Then he goes on to say how they will appreciate the boro faithful going to enfield as they have a bigger support than most ryman 1 north clubs!!!

Do they really still think they are a big club???

Romfords support at the bridge 2 seasons ago was on a par with teams like bury st edmunds!!

the majority of teams have bigger home support than them,and many clubs have better away support

Enfield town,canvey,sudbury,harlow,dartford,Enfield

These clubs all took double what romford did to the bridge(apart from dartford who have joined the ryman 1 north this season but would of no doubt bought over a couple of hundred) and they only have to travel a couple of miles.

I think what they mean is that Romford will bring more fans than any other club to their ground this season.

 

Romford are a small club compared to us, but they are one of the biggest in the ESL. Barking should bring a healthy away following also but as we know, it was our own strong home support that kept our attendances up.

Romford are on a par with the likes of Ware in terms of home attendances. No idea what their away support is like but probably much better than most teams in Ryman One North barring 5 or 6.

romfords home attendances are up because of the kids and their parents that play there before the game.Their normal home support is more like that of flackwell heath.

As for their away support most ryman one north sides would take more than the measly 30 or so that they bought down to us last year for a local derby!
