The Doog has passed away aged 69, the famous left foot and hairless head that used to score many great goals for, amongst others Pompey, Wolves, Blackburn and Northern Ireland was a credit to the game.

The Doog was part of the first ever panel to sit on ITV for the World Cup and was a great example to children on his positive approach to the game and sometimes very strong, but correct, views on the game.

A sad loss.
